Cross Country
For some odd reason I decided that running outside for 30 minutes every week for about 6 weeks, up and down hills on gravel and forest paths would be fun. This is also known as cross country. YAAAY!!! Anyways, back to the point, this takes not only physical fitness, but mental fitness, because it involves a lot of self pep talks to keep yourself going throughout the race. At least I think so, however I could be the only one that has mental conversations when I run, but I'll pretend like I am not for the sake of this post. YAAAY number two. Since pictures was not exactly the top thing on my mind as I was doing this I am going to post links/pictures of the results. I feel that I did fairly good, for the most part. It definitley challenged me and, until I got druchet in the BCs on Saturday it was fun as well. Yes this implies that getting drenched for 22 minutes was not my definition of fun. I only have my times for Fraser Valley's and BC's (24) and (22). I do not have pictures of these, but my placing should seem reasonable with these times. I am definitely planning on doing cross country again next year and would encourage others to do the same since Sulli only had 4 grade 8 girls and 3 Jr. Girls and NO boys this year!!! To those who did participate YAAAY!!! (If you ever find this. Which you probably won't, so ummm yea...)
This is the first run I did. The person spelt my last name wrong I am Jasmine Braede. Ummm WHAT? (Distance: 4km)

This was the 3rd race and ran and they finally learned how to spell my name!!!!! (Distance: 4.6km)
These are the results for the 4th race. Hardly anybody showed up.... (Distance: 4.8km)
This was the Big Rock race. (Distance: 4.3km) Why is it shorter???!!!!

The last race I ran was the BC Championships, I haven't found the results for that yet, but it was 4.3km and my time was 22 minutes.
Haha, I loved reading this blurb. Good job with a cross country team. My lungs aren't meant for running.
